Hi! My name is Taha - I’m a second year graduate student at UOIT, currently pursuing a Masters in Criminology. My personal research focus is on mediated depictions of Muslims and Arabs in video games, and their contribution to Islamophobic culture. In addition to my research, I’m also passionate about Netflix and food.

My personal research focuses on the risk factors associated with suicide among gay and bisexual men from racial/ethnic minority groups. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing recreational sports, reading, crafting, calligraphy, and watching crime/mystery documentaries.

My personal research interests includes gender, sexuality and sports and my thesis examines the relationship between rape myth acceptance and sports culture.
